a real nice early piece by Bob Jones, veteran knifemaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bob made knives from 1960 until his death. He was a member of the knifemakers guild. Pre owned. Doesn't appear to have been used.
Top Lock
Handle scales made from beautiful brown wood.Nickel silver bolster & pins. Steel frame.
Mirror polished hollow ground drop point blade. Bob was known to use 01 steel for his blades. Don't know if this is 01. A little discoloration on both sides.
Has the BJ stamp on one tang and #501 stamped on the other.
Backspring is dressed up with some great filework.
Locks up snug, The blade is a little lazy closing.
