Product Overview

Custom Wicked Knife Company WASP prototype  model survival/camp fixed blade knife by knife maker Newt Livesay. Pre owned.

When I obtained this knife and didn't recognize it as one of Newt's regular models. I sent the knife to him to see what it was, clean, sharpen and make a sheath. He did a fantastic job of refurbishing the knife.

He recognized the knife as his Wasp pattern. A company in North Carolina wanted the wasp but they wanted a smaller size.  Newt took the standard Wasp blank and using a computer shrunk down to a smaller size but with the original design. He made 4 of the smaller knives for the company and never put the small knife in production.

Black micarta handle scales. Full tang. Lanyard hole with lanyard.

Hollow ground blade made from 1095 high carbon steel. NEWT LIVESAY 5 C (made in 1977) stamped on one side and Wicked Knife C   on other side of knife. (Newt's company name)

14" OAL, 9 5/8" Blade, 7 3/4" Cutting Edge, just shy of 1/4" Thick
