Product Overview

Custom G.W. Stone bowie/fighter style knife. Pre owned. Doesn't appear to have been used much if any.  I obtained the knife and sheath at a gun show.

I can't be sure but believe the knife was made back in the 1970's

The handle was perfect. I did hand polish the brass bolsters and guard with some Flitz polish as they were tarnished. Came out very nice.

Satin finished polished clip point bowie style blade.  Stone is stamped on one side of blade and L86 stamped on the other side. L might be the model. Not sure his numbering system. 

Black micarta handle. Brass double guard and butt cap. Brass spacer. The handle guard and butt cap in excellent condition 

The blade is in excellent condition with some light pitting spots. Nice sharp edge.

10 5/8" OAL, 6" Blade, A hair short of 1/4" Blade Thickness.

A custom brown leather belt sheath was made for the knife.
