Product Overview

2000 Vintage PUMA Original Bowie Knife & Leather Sheath Model 116 396 This handmade knife was made in Soligen, Germany. Pre owned but doesn't appear to have been used. Original edge.

The date stamp is 56002 which indicated the knife was made in the 2nd half of 2000 (22 years old).

This fine fixed blade Puma  Bowie Knife is full tang.

This knife measures 11" overall with a 6 1/2" blade.

The handle scales are stag held on with 3 small pins. Lanyard hole. Nickel silver guard.

Unused mirror polished clip blade has the  factory Rockwell sticker.

Next to the sticker is the "Puma Proof Mark". A small dot or ping on the blade that is part of the Rockwell testing.

The blade is etched 116 396 HANDMADE - PUMA - ORIGINAL - BOWIE - GERMANY STAINLESS.

The Puma Germany Original Leather Sheath is in excellent condition other than the button snap has some of the finish worn off.
