ANZA by LEE, ANZA CALLS THE KNIFE  RANGER

Modified but not used.

These unusual knives are made in the USA by Anza knives, from Nicholson files that have been annealed, cold ground and polished. Each Anza knife blade displays some of the original file teeth.

The last time I was in the woods I carried a Ranger similar to this one. If I ever go again a Ranger will be on my hip. I can’t think of any other knife that would be better.

This is my, ANZA by LEE, new modified version of the popular Anza Ranger large size fixed blade knife.

Anza made the blade. I added the handle.

Great looking matched Desert Ironwood handle scales held on with 2 large pins.

Drilled a lanyard hole and lined it.

Full tang blade.

Large index finger cutout.

The blade is hollow ground from a 12″ file.  My ANZA by Lee logo is etched on top edge of the blade. After heat treating, the file becomes a high carbon piece of steel.

11.0″ OAL, 5 3/4″ Blade, 1/4″ thick

I had a custom brown leather sheath made. He added a snap and put a snap on the lanyard. This system holds the knife in the sheath without the possibility of it coming out unless you want it out. I thought it was a neat idea.
