California knifemaker Jeff Morgan has been making knives for many years. 
This knife is new unused. I obtained the knife from him.

A friction folding knife is a folding knife that doesn't have any back springs or locks to hold the blade open. 
As the blade is opened the stop pin goes into a notch on the handle to hold the blade in the open position.

This is one of his smaller friction folders.

Black G-10 handle scales. Brass stop pin 

Hand rubbed finish,drop point styl blade made from 1095 high carbon steel. 

JM stamped on one side of blade.

5" Closed, 2 3/4" blade, 1/8" Blade Thickness
